Founded in 1974, the giordanos tradition began with Efrain and Marianna Giordano, a couple who believed that every pizza should be an event. Their famous stuffed deep dish became a local legend — layers of premium mozzarella, hand-crushed San Marzano tomatoes, and the freshest toppings, all encased in a golden, buttery crust baked to perfection.

The Beginning

Efrain and Marianna Giordano open a small kitchen in Chicago's Italian neighborhood, serving their legendary stuffed deep dish to family and friends. Word spreads fast — the waiting list grows longer each week.

1985

Moving West

The Giordano family relocates to Denver, Colorado, bringing their treasured recipes and their dream of sharing authentic giordanos pizza with a new city. The Denver community embraces them immediately.

1992

Catering Launch

Demand from local businesses and event planners leads Giordanos to launch its catering division. Within two years, Giordanos becomes the go-to choice for corporate events across the Denver metro area.

Second Generation
